Under the leadership of Mr. Alex Kwaku Asafo-Agyei, the newly appointed Registrar of the Scholarships Secretariat in Ghana, the Secretariat held a fruitful discussion with the University of Bradford in the United Kingdom (UK).
The University of Bradford delegation, led by Dr. Sheillah Chimugeni, paid a courtesy call on the Secretariat to discuss existing challenges and explore future opportunities for Ghanaian students pursuing higher education in the UK.
Both parties explored potential areas of cooperation, including scholarship programs, student exchanges, and joint research initiatives.
Mr. Asafo-Agyei, on behalf of the Ghana Scholarships Secretariat, expressed appreciation for the University of Bradford's interest in collaborating with Ghanaian institutions.
"We welcome the opportunity to work with the University of Bradford and explore ways to support Ghanaian students in their academic pursuits," said the Registrar.
Dr. Sheillah Chimugeni reaffirmed the UK's commitment to fostering a strong partnership with Ghanaian institutions and providing opportunities for Ghanaian students to access quality education.
