As misery on a scale seldom seen in war-weary eastern DR Congo, where millions of innocent civilians are suffering, is unleashed by the M23 militia, which is sponsored by Rwanda, the African Union (AU) must act decisively to halt the carnage.
In the 21st century AI-age, it is crucial that all those who govern nations on the continent of Africa understand clearly that we are all one people - Africans - first and foremost, and that no African tribe is superior or inferior to another.
It is in that light that we must condemn, in the strongest terms possible, without any equivocation whatsoever, Rwandan President Paul Kagame's attempt to annex the eastern region of DR Congo, by cloaking it as a just war to protect Tutsis who hail from that part of Rwanda's biggest neighbour, territorially.
Nothing can justify that abomination, which attempting to annex part of a sister African nation for such atavistic tribal reasons represents, on the part of President Paul Kagame.
For far too long, President Paul Kagame's regime has gotten away with the crime against humanity, which turning Rwanda into a virtual apartheid state completely dominated by its minority Tutsis is - because he has become untouchable: ironically for successfully transforming Rwanda from a nation in which tribal genocide against the minority Tutsis occurred, into a stable and well-ordered society.
To halt Rwanda's unacceptable tribalistic invasion-by-proxy of the eastern region of DR Congo, the African Union must impose sanctions that close access to ports in Kenya and Tanzania on Rwanda, immediately.
That is the only way to stop the carnage being unleashed on millions of innocent fellow Africans so cruelly by the M23 rebels.
President Paul Kagame has obviously drawn inspiration from the dramatic overthrow of ex-President Assad's regime, by rebel militias there, and has also calculated that an America led by President Trump won't impose sanctions on him personally, and on Rwanda's super ruthless greed-filled wealthy ruling elites - who have grown wealthy pillaging the mineral wealth of DR Congo, with impunity.
He must be stopped this time round by the AU.
