There has been a confrontation between the Acting Chief Executive Officer of the Petroleum Commission, Emeafa Hardcastle and the Minority Chief Whip, Frank Annoh-Dompreh.

The confrontation which saw the two being captured on video visibly angry occurred on Tuesday, January 28, when the Appointments Committee were going for a short break over defamatory comments made by social activist Oliver Barker-Vormawor.

In a video that has gone viral, Emeafa Hardcastle who was there to support the vetting of the Minister-designate for Defence Dr. Edward Omane Boamah is heard repeating that the Minority in Parliament is a "micro minority", a description the group has expressed strong opposition to.

This appears to have angered Frank Annoh-Dompreh who also vowed to take Emeafa Hardcastle on.

In a reply, Emeafa Hardcastle warned the Minority Chief Whip, saying, “You are threatening me that you will take me on because you are who? My friend don’t bring yourself. What do you mean you are taking me on? What does that phrase mean? Don’t bring yourself. I don’t have time for this. You think you can bully me here?”

In the altercation, Frank Annoh-Dompreh accused Emeafa Hardcastle of calling him silly, stressing that he won’t take that foul word kindly.

Below is a video of the incident as shared by Citi FM on X.
