A renowned legal practitioner with over two decades of experience, Elikplim has been involved in NDC’s legal and strategic efforts, serving as one of the reliable counsels for the party in several crucial legal battles. Since he was called to the Ghana Bar in October 2003, he has demonstrated unmatched expertise, offering counsel on complex legal issues, advocating for the rights of party members and Ghanaians at large, and playing instrumental roles in securing victories for the party.

The legal luminary once served as the Personal Assistant to Hon. Betty Mould-Iddrisu when she served in the late President Mills’ government as Attorney General and Minister for Justice from 2009 to 2011. When she was later appointed Minister for Education, Elikplim remained by her side, continuing to contribute to the success of her ministry from 2011 to 2013. This experience gave him unique insights into the workings of government and policy development at the highest level.
A highly versatile professional, Elikplim’s legal expertise is complemented by his knowledge of finance, making him an even more invaluable asset to the NDC and President Mahama, for the materialization of the “Resetting Ghana” agenda. He has worked with the Ministry of Finance and the Bank of Ghana on pivotal legislation, including the Credit Reporting framework. His advisory role with the West African Monetary Institute (WAMI) also saw him contribute significantly to shaping regulatory frameworks for Non-Bank Financial Institutions across Ghana, Sierra Leone, Gambia, and Nigeria.
He has continuously proven his commitment to advancing the objectives of the NDC. As the Lead Counsel for E.L. Agbemava Law Office, he has handled landmark cases, always fighting for justice and fairness. His international exposure, attending high-level conferences and workshops around the world, has further broadened his perspectives, making him well-equipped to contribute significantly to the “Resetting Ghana” agenda.
