Mahama cleverly outsmarted Charlatan Prophets during election 2024— Rev. Anthony Kwarteng

In a startling revelation, Very Reverend Anthony Kwarteng, General Overseer of the Christ Power Miracle Mission Church located at Dome Kwabenya in the Greater Accra region, has asserted that former President John Dramani Mahama strategically exposed what he describes as "charlatan prophets" during the lead-up to the December 7th elections.

Kwarteng claims Mahama, aware of these prophets' potential influence, invited them to his residence not out of genuine faith but as a calculated move to prevent them from actively campaigning against him.

According to Reverend Kwarteng, Mahama recognized that these particular religious figures, if not placated, could sway their congregations' votes against him. "Ghanaians don't know," Kwarteng stated, "but I tell you the truth, President Mahama was fast to know that if he failed to humble himself before these wicked pastors, they would convince their members to vote against his victory."

He urged Ghanaians to question Mahama directly about the true motivations behind these prayer sessions, emphasizing that the former president was well aware of their true nature.

While emphasizing Mahama’s shrewdness, Very Reverend Kwarteng also criticized the tendency of some pastors to engage in "prophetic competitions," claiming that the NDC's past victories were due to their specific prophecies. He stressed that unity and prayer for national prosperity are more important, calling on all to come together and pray for God’s wisdom to guide the president and for investors to be drawn to the country for socio-economic advancement.

Reverend Kwarteng didn't shy away from criticizing the previous administration of Nana Akufo-Addo and Vice President Bawumia, alleging they oversaw a period of evil and hampered national progress. He further accused the "charlatan prophets" of siding with the previous government to worsen the country's destiny, claiming that such actions undermined the work of God and allowed false prophets to gain prominence.

He advised pastors to shun false doctrines that bring disgrace to God, stressing that their role should be to promote goodness and serve the welfare of the nation rather than seeking personal gain. Quoting Matthew 25:36-46, Reverend Kwarteng admonished Mahama to distance himself from deceptive figures masquerading as "angels of light." He cautioned that these same prophets, whose agendas were revealed in the past, are still at work.

Reverend Kwarteng ultimately stressed that pastors must focus on good conduct and patriotism, praying for the president and the nation’s development. He urged an end to negative attitudes that erode credibility and violate the word of God, emphasizing that such behaviors have no place in the practice of faith.
