Knutsford University College has reached a significant milestone in its journey as an educational institution by receiving a Presidential Charter, officially elevating it to the status of a fully-fledged university.

The announcement was made following the presentation of the charter by the immediate past President of the Republic of Ghana Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo Addo, on December 19, 2024.

This prestigious recognition solidifies Knutsford University’s position as a leading provider of quality education in Africa and reflects its commitment to academic excellence and innovation.

Knutsford University extended its heartfelt gratitude to key stakeholders who contributed to this achievement. These include the Government and people of Ghana, the Ghana Tertiary Education Commission under the Ministry of Education, the University of Ghana, and the University for Development Studies, which served as mentor institutions.

Additionally, the university acknowledged the efforts of its collaborators, Governing Council, Boards, Management, Charter Committee, Faculty, Staff, Students, Alumni, and Parents, who have been instrumental in this success.
