Parliament Showdown Averted: NDC MPs Cooked Blows but NPP MPs Served Peace

The NDC MPs threatened mayhem to rain in parliament on October 22, 2024 and promised a similar January 6, 2021 showdown on the floor of the house. So, they rushed into the floor to occupy the majority side, very ready to exchange blows and throw fists in the air. They were shamed fashionably whilst the whole nation watched.

They were shamed by their colleagues from NPP caucus. Indeed, the NPP MPs exhibited brainwork and maturity when they left the house as soon as they saw their seats occupied by the NDC minority. The mature reaction just saved the nation, known as the beacon of democracy in Africa from international ridicule. The fight in the Ghana parliament would have been told in all media houses worldwide alongside the news from conflict zones like Gaza, Lebanon and Ukraine.
