Abibitumi Headquarters and MMG Foundation Black Power Vision to Reality Conference

The European indoctrination of Africans has been an ongoing ploy since the first Europeans or whites/Caucasians escaped from the Caucasus Mountain areas and reached the Black/African Nile River Valley Civilization about c. 4500 B.C.

Black/African civilizations-- majestic kingdoms, great African scholars, learning centers and libraries, sciences, math and philosophies, fashions, farmlands and irrigation systems were prior to the existence and civilizing of Europeans/Caucasians.

From East Africa-- and then to West Africa in the 1400s, Europeans spread like locust across the face of the African coastlines to colonize with gun powder, slave castle dungeons and slave ships devising a system of chattel enslavement of Mother Africa’s indigenous, known today as the Sixth Region of Africa (see African Union).

The struggle against the brutal worse form of slavery in world history built on racism was of course, not easy, and the same for other forms of slavery and subjugation of Black/African people on the continent of Africa and the Ascendants of Africans who were stolen from Africa-- continues to date simultaneously against the ongoing struggle for Black upliftment and unity via global Pan African organizations efforts.

Saluting-- all Pan African Movements throughout history and the world. Focusing on the first conference held by Henry Sylvester Williams, including Marcus Mosiah Garvey (United Negro Improvement Association) and W.E.B. DuBois (Pan African Congresses) to President Kwame Nkrumah and King Haile Selassie’s Organization of African Unity (OAU).

Sankofa— African-centered learning, which involves learning how to critically think, analyzing Black/African History, including application as in applying to today’s nation building and redevelopment in Africa, which all can be integrated into curriculums by Ghana’s National Council for Curriculum and Assessment (NaCCA), and used by other African schools and universities.

Recently, in Ghana, the beautiful newly built Abibitumi Headquarters, led by Dr. Obadele Kambon (Professor, University of Ghana) and the Marcus Mosiah Garvey Foundation held the 2^nd Historic Abibitumi Conference and Festival, Honoring Baba Dr. Obenfo Kamau Kambon, September 6-8, 2024 in Akuapem, Mampong, Ghana.

In attendance at The Conference were an array of African-centered educators providing lessons and activities. At the closing of the event educators and community activists were given citation awards for their works and civic social actions:
