Founded in 2013 with a single classroom, Daarulquraan Institute has blossomed into a leading educational institution in the Somali region of Ethiopia. According to Sh. Mohamed Nur, the Principal of Daarulquraan, the journey from humble beginnings to becoming a beacon of educational excellence has been both challenging and rewarding.
The institute’s growth has been nothing short of remarkable. What began as a modest initiative has expanded to include 54 sub-branches across Ethiopia, significantly extending its reach and impact. Currently, Daarulquraan boasts an impressive enrollment of over 25,000 students, reflecting its vital role in promoting education and Islamic scholarship in the region.
The graduation ceremony was a celebration of not only the students' academic achievements but also the institute’s commitment to providing quality education. Sh. Mohamed Nur expressed pride in the progress made, highlighting the institute’s mission to nurture and educate the next generation of leaders and scholars.
“The journey from our first classroom to now having 54 branches is a testament to the dedication and hard work of our staff and the support of the community,” said Sh. Mohamed Nur. “Our goal has always been to offer a comprehensive education that fosters both academic and spiritual growth.”
