The Asanteman Association in Europe is gearing up for the Afahy3 cultural festival, scheduled to take place in Dusseldorf, Germany from September 13 to 15, 2024.
Organizers are promising an exciting celebration of Asante culture, heritage, and traditions under the theme "Asante Awakens: Igniting Cultural Passion in the Youth."
The program will also feature a range of activities, including a youth program and music night on Friday, September 13, a grand durbar on Saturday, September 14 and an Akwasidae dinner dance on Sunday, September 15.
Lawyer Nana Obiri Boahen, a private legal practitioner, historian and politician is the Special Guest of honour.
Organizers are aiming to bring together Asantes and non-Asantes to experience the rich cultural heritage of the Asante people, and to promote unity and cultural awareness among the youth.
