Bright Botchway, National Deputy Director of the Traders and Artisans Network (TAN) and a youth activist launched a scathing attack on Eugene Arhin, the Director of Communications at the Presidency, during a major 24-hour economy event in Senya.

The event, which drew over 5,000 attendees, saw Botchway accuse Arhin of neglect.

In his address, Botchway alleged that Arhin prioritized personal investments and enjoyment over addressing the pressing needs of his constituents. He further claimed that Arhin’s recent efforts to distance himself from the NPP amid the party’s dwindling fortunes are a desperate attempt to avoid accountability and potential prosecution.

“Eugene Arhin is also a human being,” Botchway declared. “But it’s too late for him to pretend he’s in touch with the people now. His neglect and self-indulgence during his time in office have fostered deep dissatisfaction. His current efforts to shield himself from responsibility are both transparent and inadequate. We need leaders who are genuinely committed to service, not those who seek cover when their positions are threatened.”

The event in Senya underscored the mounting frustration among constituents and highlighted Botchway's call for greater transparency and accountability in governance. His remarks emphasize the need for leaders to genuinely address grievances and demonstrate true commitment to public service.
