NDC to introduce new budget to support small businesses in 2025 - Mahama

Flagbearer of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) has said a new budget will be introduced under his party’s government to support and build small businesses if he wins the 7th December 2024 elections.

Mr Mahama has also promised to adjust taxes under his government aimed at serving as incentives for the creation of jobs in the country.

Delivering his 2024 New Year Message, on Wednesday, 3 January, Mr Mahama revealed that: “In April 2025, the new NDC government shall introduce a new budget to support and build small businesses and adjust taxes as an incentive for job creation.”

Stressing the heart of his vision for economic revatalistion, the implementation of a 24-hour economy aimed at maximising productivity and efficiency by extending business hours and operations around the clock to create a more dynamic and vibrant economy that benefits workers and businesses.

This policy will also increase economic output and create well-paying jobs, contribute to a more inclusive and accessible society giving citizens the flexibility to work to study to shop and enjoy leisure activities at any time that suits them best.
