President Akufo-Addo has assured the Chiefs and people of Komenda of government's readiness to commission the Sugar Factory hopefully end of the year.
The President made the statement on Saturday at Akitekyi in the Komenda Edina Eguafo EAberem District, as part of his two-day tour of the Central Region.
According to him, extensive work has been done on the project.
Nana Kwahin V, acting President, Komenda Traditional Council, acknowledged the President's effort toward revamping the factory.
He commended the effort of the Trade Minister, Alan Kwadwo Kyeremanten who hails from the municipality for not disappointing the President.
He assured the President of the traditional council's support and was hopeful their request for a new district will be considered.
