Two children aged 12 and 14 met their untimely death at Bepoase in the Sekyere South District of the Ashanti Region when their house collapsed on them during a rainstorm.
The house, a dilapidated structure, caved in during the storm at Bepoase on the night of Friday, 13 May 2022.
One of the children died instantly while the other was confirmed dead after being referred to the Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital.
Five others survived the disaster but sustained injuries.
Three of the survivors have been discharged from the hospital.
The other two are still on admission.
The building housed the family-of-seven, including a pregnant teenager.
