Bilth Studio's "DayBreak" is an exciting drama about entrepreneurship and the subjective struggles entrepreneurs go through in their everyday life that may affect their business life. DayBreak is not the first story that depicts the struggles entrepreneurs go through in their daily lives but it gives a vivid breakdown account on some particular lifestyles that one may not associate to the entrepreneur.
The story is centred on four friends who started an online educational platform call TeachAid. Among the four is Desmond, a tech wizard, a teaching assistant in one of the top Ghanaian universities, an atheist and the leader of the four. His friend, Fifi, they have been best friend since their university days. Fiifi is from a wealthy family and that automatically makes him rich with so many opportunities. Fiifi with his money along with his handsomeness is a sex addict with numerous girlfriends.
Hannah is beautiful, a beautiful graduate who cannot get a job because she refused to 'give'. To give herself something to do, she works with her mother in the market and joined the TechAid group when she was approached by Desmond. Then there Anthony, know to everyone as Sir Tony. He is a pupils’ teacher with a diploma in basic education. He joined the team because of his love for teaching. Apart from his personal battles, he is the sole breadwinner for his small family; his mother and sister.
The business was doing well until Fiifi decided to have some fun with his long time crush who was due to marry a top Ghanaian radio presenter. The two were caught on camera coming out of a hotel room. The news exploded and affected their startup.
