The General Secretary of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Mr. Johnson Asiedu Nketiah joined the Member of Parliament (MP) for Kintampo South in the Bono East Region, Hon, Felicia Adjei for a mini-rally on Monday, November 2.

The rally which was held in selected communities in the form of a tour saw the MP, the General Secretary, and other executives of the main opposition party in the constituency interacting with traditional leaders and residents.

Mounting the stage at Kwabia to speak, Mr. Asiedu noted that the New Patriotic Party (NPP) government used deceit tactics to get themselves into power in the 2016 general elections.

He noted that the failures of the government to deliver have shown clearly the need for the NDC to come back to power as he charged the good people of Kintampo South to vote for Hon. Felicia Adjei and flagbearer Mr. John Dramani Mahama in the December 7 polls.

According to him, the NDC will prioritize development when voted into power and will ensure that the needs of constituents in Kintampo South are attended to.

“In the next four years, we will do massive investment in development that will be key for the country to succeed.

“One of the major things we will do will include road construction because we know when roads are worked on, it has a direct impact on farming. Good roads are key for businesses and the springing up off factories for the citizenry to get work to do among many other things”, Mr. Asiedu Nketiah said at the rally.

On her part, Hon. Felicia Adjei assured the traditional leaders and people of Kintampo South of the continuation of the good work she has done in the past 4 years.

She pledged to continue bringing development to the constituency with particular emphasis on health while promising to build a market when the NDC is voted for.

“If you take a look, there are a lot of women here. Being a woman myself, they always tell me what they want, and truly, Kwabia needs a marketplace. If God permits and you vote for me, and you vote for John Dramani Mahama, we will surely come and build the market for you”, the Kintampo South MP said at the rally.

She further stressed, “If you vote for John Dramani Mahama, if you vote for Jane Naana, and you vote for me, Felicia Adjei, we will ensure all your needs are met”.

On the day, Mr. Asiedu Nketia and Hon. Felicia Adjei toured several other communities including Krabonso, Nante, Anyima, and Pamdu.
