Accra, July 27, GNA - The Handball League enters its 14 Week on Thursday with the game involving the Prisons Service and the Ghana Fire Service as the top liner.
The game is billed for the Fire Academy and Training School becomes the second meeting of both teams this year.
Whilst Prisons Service would aim at repeating their narrow 16-14 win over Fire in their last meeting, Fire who fared well in the last duel and insisted that luck failed to smile on them in the last encounter are poised to overturn the tables on Thursday. In their quest for the win, Fire would be relying on the services of Erasmus Akrong, national skipper Osei Yaw, Felix Dowuona, Eugene Ahoni and Joseph Cudjoe among others in search of the desired victory. On Friday, the Police team will cross swords with the Asomdwe Club at the Fire Training Centre with Old Hands sorting things out with Future Stars at the Cantonments Court on Saturday. HOSTAC Handball Club would play host to Kpando Young Hands at the Azumah Nelson's Complex on Saturday.
Meanwhile last week, Police beat Old Hnads 36-14 while Fire Service also accounted for Asomdwe 38-11.
