The first part of my interview themed "Can the British state convict itself?" is now up at youtube. This one focuses on Tony Blair's alleged culpability for participating in a war of aggression against Iraq in 2003.
Part Two, which will be available shortly, will focus on Jack Straw's potential liability as an accessory to torture and kidnapping in regard to the US-led programme of extraordinary rendition. It will also consider General Frank Kitson's role in the creation and application of a ruthless counterinsurgency strategy in Northern Ireland in the early 1970s.
