Strengthen the brethren

Strengthen the brethren

I. SON OF MAN, how strong are you? How firm are you on the ground? Have you been disappointed before? Have you been empty before? Have you faced false accusers before? Have you been at the lower end before? In Luke 22:31-32 scripture tells us that Jesus Christ assured Peter, "Simon, Simon, behold, Satan demanded to have you, that he might sift you like wheat, but I have prayed for you that your faith may not fail. And when you have turned again, strengthen your brothers. " Quite often we face diverse forms of satanic attacks. We face worldly challenges. Sometimes we lose loved ones through some unexplained circumstances, and we keep mourning their passing away. Beloved, Jesus told Peter I have prayed for you that your faith may not fail. It is possible for your faith to fail; therefore, we need prayer support. Brethren, fellows facing challenges need our prayer support. People are failing because we are failing to pray for each other. People are falling aside because we are failing to offer support to them. Let us pray for each other daily. Let us identify the weak and support them. We must not watch as the brethren walk through those difficulties; let the community of believers support them.

II. DAUGHTER OF ZION today, I assure you that God does not waste our pain. He does not waste our process. He does not waste our testimony. Every valley we walk through, every battle we win, every tear we cry, becomes the very tool God wants to use to hold someone else up. God should have stopped Satan from attacking Peter, but instead he allowed it and rather prayed for him not to lose faith. Beloved, as difficult as it may seem, God has a purpose for allowing you to go through that. His mandate for Peter was that after you have come out of it, you will . God wants Peter to gather personal experience for the mission ahead. Remember that in our Christian journey we are not just being built. We are being built to build. God saves us individually, but He matures us corporately. Your growth was never meant to end with you. You lost a loved one painfully, but through God, now you are standing on your feet again, but there are hundreds you are to minister to. Your experiences are not for you to keep but to share with others to strengthen them. Today, remember that you are ushered into the ministry of strengthening others with your experience.

III. MY DEAR BROTHERS AND BELOVED SISTERS, without going through trials and temptations, there are no practical experiences to share. Practical experiences are different from theoretical ones. God never allows a test without intending to produce a testimony. 2 Corinthians 1:4 says, "He comforts us in all our affliction so that we may be able to comfort those who are in any affliction with the comfort with which we ourselves are comforted by God. " Beloved, this is why you went through that door of the shadow of death to comfort others. Brethren, let us not keep our experiences; let us share to strengthen others. The addiction you overcame becomes hope for the one still bound, the marriage God restored becomes wisdom for the couple on the brink, the grief you walked through becomes arms for the one who just got the bad news, and the financial wilderness you survived becomes faith for the one in lack. Peter could because he denied Jesus and was forgiven. David could write Psalms because he was hunted, betrayed, and restored. Joseph could feed a nation because he was betrayed, forgotten, and promoted. today.

IV. PRECIOUS IN THE LORD, God does not call the qualified. He qualifies the call through experience. Brethren, strengthening is not just preaching, but it is a purposeful, practical, and present act. "Brothers, if anyone is caught in any transgression, you who are spiritual should restore him in a spirit of gentleness." Galatians 6:1. Truth without love wounds. Love without truth misleads. People need both. Romans 1:11-12: "For I long to see you, that I may impart to you some spiritual gift to strengthen you; that is, we may be mutually encouraged by each other’s faith." Sometimes strengthening is a text. Sometimes it is sitting in silence. Sometimes it is reminding them who God is when they have forgotten. SOMETIMES YOUR PRESENCE IS ALL THAT IS NEEDED; MAKE TIME TO SPEND TIME WITH PEOPLE. Learn to "bear one another’s burdens and so fulfill the law of Christ." Galatians 6:2. Strengthening means getting in the trench with them, not just shouting instructions from above. This is a DIVINE NEW DAY PROPHETIC WORD of encouragement sent forth through the authority and power of Christ Jesus and delivered to the brethren through God's vessel, Francis Ameyibor. Yes! Do not disqualify yourself because you are not perfect. Peter wasn’t. You strengthen others not because you are flawless, but because you are faithful and you have been found.

V. 2026 IS OUR YEAR AND SEASON TO BE LIFTED UP— The Lord is still praying for us like He prayed for Peter. And He is still sending us with the same assignment: "When you have turned again, strengthen your brothers."

PRAYER: Father, thank You for every trial You have walked me through. Forgive me for keeping my testimony to myself. Today I surrender my story to You. Use my pain to produce purpose; use my victory to bring someone else victory. Make me a strengthener in my home, in this church, and in my city. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
