FORE School of Management, New Delhi based premium B-School signs MOU, with University of Economics, Ho Chi Minh City and other top universities of Vietnam to promote academic collaboration.The Institute is undertaking a study tour to Vietnam and visit Ho Chi Minh City from 26th to 29th September 2015. The group will comprise of Faculty, Director and President, Board of Directors of the institute. Every year faculty group at FORE, comprising of learned experts in diverse fields of management and economics, undertakes a country specific study tour to learn and share developments in business and industry with academicians and industry experts of the host country. Study tours have been undertaken to Italy, China, Uzbekistan, Thailand, UAE and Malaysia in the recent past.
FORE has been meticulously developing a faculty group which comes from best of academic institutes as well as diverse industry experience. The continuous research and efforts put up by the faculties’ at FORE to keep the curriculum relevant to workplace, has been highly appreciated by MNCs.
“With 85% of the faculty having vast corporate exposure creating values for recruiters is a collective agenda for the members of faculty at FORE. Every year we visit a country to studyits business, industries’, socio economic balance, management & culture. Brain storming sessions are held and key learning's documented. The study tour will be followed by publication of a well-researched edited book on business and economy of Vietnam with research articles contributed by faculty members in the study tour,” said, Prof. Neeraj Kumar, Executive Chairman-Admissions at FORE.
A flag off ceremony for the tour is scheduled at 10.30 a.m. on 23rd September 2015 at the institute campus. Mr. TRAN QUAN TUYEN, Minister and Deputy Mission of Vietnam Embassy in India and Ms. BACH THANH BINH, Head of Political and Cultural Section, Vietnam Embassy in India have kindly consented to be the Chief Guests at the ceremony.
An inaugural event will be held for the academic activities in Vietnam with an opportunity to meet and interact with top officials of the Universities in Vietnam and members of the study tour at 9 a.m. on 27rd September, 2015 at Conference Hall of Hotel Renaissance River Saigon, Ho Chi Minh City. MsSmita Pant, The Consular General of India in Vietnam has kindly consented to grace the ceremony as Chief Guest. President, Vice President, Rector, Dean and other senior officials of National University of Economics, Ho Chi Minh City and University of Economics and Law, Ho Chi Minh City will grace the occasion.
