Ghana Senior High School (GHANASS), Koforidua, will celebrate its 70th anniversary with Speech & Prize-giving Day at the School's grounds this Saturday, December 14, 2013.
The event starts at 8.30 a.m on the theme: 70 years of quality senior high school education, the role and the challenges of stakeholders.
According to the headmaster of the school, Very Rev. Abraham Osei Donkor, the chairman for the occasion will be Dr. Albert Frank Odoom, an old student and immediate past Director-General of SSNIT and currently chairman of the Board of Directors of Nationwide Financial Service Limited.
The guest speaker will be Ms. Gertrude Nimako Boateng, also an old student and Executive Director of International Trade Institute for West Africa.
The Ghanass Old Students Association (GOSSA) will round off the celebrations with a dinner dance at 8 p.m at the Capital View Hotel in Koforidua.
