The Overlord of Kamenaman and Chief of Pese, Nana Osae Nyampong VI, has pledged his unwavering support to the newly enstooled Pese Amankrado, Nana Ateko Antwi III, following the latter's swearing of the Oath of Allegiance at the Pese Palace.

The colorful traditional ceremony, which took place on Sunday 7th June 2026, attracted chiefs, queen mothers, opinion leaders, family members, and well-wishers from Pese and neighboring communities who gathered to witness the historic event.

In his address after receiving the oath, Nana Osae Nyampong VI congratulated Nana Ateko Antwi III on his successful enstoolment and urged him to serve with humility, dedication, and commitment to the development of Pese and the larger Kamenaman Traditional Area.

The revered chief assured the newly installed Amankrado of his continuous guidance and support, emphasizing the importance of unity and cooperation among traditional leaders.

"My doors are always open to you. You can count on my full support as you embark on this important responsibility. Together, we must work tirelessly for the progress, peace, and development of our people," Nana Osae Nyampong VI stated.

Nana Ateko Antwi III, in his response, expressed profound gratitude to Nana Osae Nyampong VI, the elders, and the people of Pese for the confidence reposed in him. He pledged to uphold the customs and traditions of the area while working diligently to promote unity and socio-economic development.

The event was marked by traditional drumming and dancing, cultural performances, and the presentation of customary rites associated with the installation of traditional leaders.
