The Olivera Miljkovic Foundation has honoured Fettehman United Football Club with an official club song, a historic moment for the Gomoa Fetteh-based side.
The song was composed through the joint efforts of Aleksandar Miljkovic, a renowned double bass professor and Director of the Olivera Miljkovic Foundation, and his Ghanaian brother, Leon Daniel Agyeman Dodoo, a certified international football scout and songwriter. The song was officially presented to the club earlier today.
Speaking at the presentation, Leon Daniel Agyeman Dodoo revealed that Aleksandar Miljkovic’s deep love for Gomoa Fetteh inspired him to support the project. According to Leon, the foundation’s support goes beyond music, as Aleksandar remains committed to contributing to the growth and development of the community.
“Aleksandar is very passionate about Gomoa Fetteh. This club song is just one of the many things he is doing and will continue to do to support the community,” Leon stated.
Leon also showered praises on Nana Abor Atta II, the Chief of Gomoa Fetteh and Life Patron of Fettehman United FC, describing his contributions to youth development as extraordinary.
“The chief has done unimaginable things for the youth of Gomoa Fetteh and deserves every recognition. Having spent time in the community, I can confidently say Nana Abor Atta II deserves all the praise. I will continue to sing his name across the world,” he added.
Receiving the honour on behalf of the club and community, Nana Abor Atta II expressed his appreciation to the Olivera Miljkovic Foundation, Aleksandar Miljkovic, and Leon Daniel Agyeman Dodoo for their continuous efforts in projecting Gomoa Fetteh onto the international stage.
He described Aleksandar Miljkovic as a unique personality whose influence in Gomoa Fetteh through music and sports has earned him immense respect.
“Aleksandar has shown unmatched support to Gomoa Fetteh through his music. He is the only person who has successfully combined both sports and music in this community. The people of Gomoa Fetteh appreciate this gesture and will preserve this historic legacy forever,” the chief said.
