Indonesian currency slides: Inflation makes it harder for people to afford food

Indonesia's currency has fallen to a record low against the US dollar, with one dollar now exceeding 18,000 rupiah. The decline marks a sharp drop from earlier this year and places the rupiah among the weakest performing currencies in the region.
