Staff of the National Identification Authority have resumed work following a directive from the National Labour Commission to end their strike.
The decision came after discussions involving the Public Sector Workers Union, the NIA, and the Fair Wages and Salaries Commission over delayed migration reports affecting staff conditions of service.
A visit by Channel One News to NIA offices in the Ashanti Region showed applicants being attended to as services fully resumed after the suspension of the industrial action.
Clients who had previously been stranded due to the strike expressed relief as registration and renewal processes restarted across affected offices.
