2027 Women's World Cup play-offs: Ghana drawn against Ecuador, Uzbekistan and Papua New Guinea
Ghana's Black Queens have been drawn against Ecuador, Uzbekistan and Papua New Guinea in the first phase of the qualification play-offs for the 2027 Fifa Women's World Cup.
The draw places Ghana in a four-team group, with the sides set to play each other once in a round-robin format.
The top two teams will advance to the final phase, where they will face representatives from CONCACAF, UEFA, Venezuela and two other qualifiers for a place at the World Cup.
The final phase will be played on a single-elimination basis, with the three winners securing qualification for the 2027 tournament.
Ghana will begin their campaign against South American side Ecuador before facing Uzbekistan in their second match.
The Black Queens will then conclude the first phase against Papua New Guinea.

Ghana are seeking to return to the Women's World Cup for the first time since 2007.
The Black Queens missed out on automatic qualification after failing to reach the semi-finals of the 2026 Women's Africa Cup of Nations, with the top four teams at the tournament securing direct places at the 2027 World Cup.
Ghana must now navigate the intercontinental play-offs to keep their hopes of returning to the global stage alive.
