iBurst Africa Gets New GM

Tony Dadzie iBurst Africa, the high speed wireless, broadband internet service provider (ISP), has announced the appointment of Tony Dadzie as the company's new General Manager (GM) for Ghana.

A well-respected and capable manager, Tony comes to the role with a diverse and rich background, bringing with him a deep understanding of the functions he is about to perform and an appreciation for the complex nature of the communications industry.

With more than two decades of business management experience, Tony has, since his arrival at iBurst Africa, successfully achieved a variety of company objectives through his highly developed analytical ability and proven leadership skills.

Prior to this appointment, Tony served as the company's Sales Manager from July 2008, growing the company's customer base to record levels in a short space of time. This came about through developing and implementing robust corporate sales policies and strategies, offering the right product range and providing accessible distribution channels. With iBurst Africa's focus on improving the total customer experience, Tony was, and will still be ultimately responsible for ensuring that customer requirements are met in order to achieve full loyalty.

“Since its appearance on the Ghanaian ISP scene, iBurst Africa has aimed to revolutionize the way the public accesses the Internet. This was achieved through the introduction of speed, reliability and just as importantly, a traffic-based billing system as opposed to the time-related payment method into the ISP environment,” said Tony Dadzie.

“Tony brings a wealth of experience, enthusiasm and commitment to iBurst Africa and is the right leader for the company at this stage of its growth,” says Isaac Osei-Agyeman, board chairman.

iBurst Africa commenced operations in Ghana in 2007 as a “serious” high speed wireless broadband internet service provider (ISP) offering users a unique product and service experience.
