Archbishop Nicholas Duncan-Williams Crowned Ultimate Honouree for Influential Personality at Christian Honours 2026
Archbishop Nicholas Duncan-Williams has been named the Ultimate Honouree in the Influential Personality category at the maiden edition of Christian Honours 2026, held in Accra.
The distinguished recognition was conferred in acknowledgement of his exceptional influence, enduring leadership, and transformative contribution to the growth of Christianity, national consciousness, and spiritual mentorship in Ghana and beyond for more than three to four decades.
Widely regarded as one of Africa’s most impactful Christian leaders, Archbishop Duncan-Williams has, over the decades, shaped lives through preaching, intercession, leadership development, and bold public advocacy on issues of faith and nationhood. His voice has remained a guiding force within Christendom, with influence stretching across generations, denominations, and national boundaries.
The Influential Personality category celebrates Christian leaders whose capacity to shape thought, inspire action, influence institutions, and command respect has produced measurable impact in both church and society for more than 35 years and beyond. While all honourees in the category were recognised with medals, citations and plaques, Archbishop Duncan-Williams emerged as the Ultimate Honouree.
