Former tennis player gives to Association

Accra, Aug 1, GNA - Peter Annan, Vice Chairman of the Ghana Tennis Association (GTA) and a former tennis player has presented 45 shirts to the national tennis team, the Golden Rackets.

The donation worth 1000 euros, include 15 pieces each of Polo shirts, T-shirts and sweat shirts.

Mr Annan said the deal was secured through his contacts with a German company, FA Slough Estates who offered to come to the aid of the team. He said the package forms part of his little contribution towards the progress of the team.

The Rackets are currently in Senegal to participate in a tournament.
