``Tennis will bounce back``

The Minister of Youth and Sports, Hon. Rashid Pelpuo has given the assurance that the dwindling state of tennis in the country is over.

To ensure that the sport restores its lost shine, the Sports Ministry has given the tennis Courts at the Ohene Djan Stadium a face- lift with the refurbishment by construction giants, Micheletti & Co. Limited.

Inspecting the refurbished tennis court in the company of the acting Chief Executive of the National Sports Council (NSC) a few weeks ago, the Minister revealed that the move to put the court in shape attest to his outfit's quest to ensure that tennis bounces back.

The Courts have been dormant due to their bad nature for close to four years, and that has accounted for its nose dive.

The refurbished Courts now have plastic seats, and the washing rooms have been given a new touch.

It was Mr. Jimmy Castagna, an Engineer of Micheletti, who took the Minister and his entourage round for the inspection.
