Top 8 tennis ends tomorrow

THE TOP 8 tennis competition began last Wednesday at the Accra Tennis Club with impressive results.

In Group A, ace tennis player, Owusu Menford handed Fredrick Agyiri a straight sets victory 6,2-6,1, while Robert Kpodo defeated Raymond Hayford 6,2-6,3 in the other Group A encounter.

Experienced Michael Nortey thrashed Nii Noi Ababio 6,0, 6,1 in their Group B duel, with Emmanuel Mensah triumphing over Eugene Hammond 6,1-6,2.

The competition is expected to end tomorrow and the winner in Group A will face the winner of Group B, while runners up in Group A will face their Group B counterparts for third place.
