WordDigest: When Things Turned Around (16) Nehemiah And Others Had Prayed Beforehand

"Now it happened, whence Sanballat, Tobiah, the Arabs, the Ammonites, and the Ashdodites heard that the walls of Jerusalem were being restored and the gaps were beginning to be closed, that they became very angry, and all of them conspired together to come and attack Jerusalem and create confusion. Nevertheless we made our prayer to our God, and because of them we set a watch against them day and night."

[Nehemiah 4:-7-9]
NKJV
Sanballat and comrades conspired to create a confusion upon hearing the walls of Jerusalem were to be restored.

One thing we have to commit to memory; the purpose of the walls of Jerusalem were to serve as a defensive barrier against enemies.

Though Nehemiah and his people were security conscious, yet Sanballat and others were unhappy about it.

Nevertheless, Nehemiah and his people had planned ahead with prayer before Sanballat's wanted to create a confusion.

Things could turn around anytime.
Before it does, pray ahead to halt every step of the enemy.

If Nehemiah and others haven't prayed ahead things could have turned in favor of their enemies.

Pray ahead, for situations could turn either way.
Pray until things turn around.
God bless you.

May every works of the enemy against me be null and void in Jesus' name I pray, Amen .
