"And when Peter had come to himself, he said, “Now I know for certain that the Lord has sent His angel, and has delivered me from the hand of Herod and from all the expectation of the Jewish people.”

The chapter narrates Herod's evil actions toward the disciples of Christ Jesus.

He killed James, the brother of John with a sword and had Peter apprehended and imprisoned.

What was the expectation? That Peter also should be killed for believing in Christ Jesus.

But the church prayed extensively and an angel of the Lord took him out of the prison.

Praise the Lord!
Now that you know or have accepted Christ Jesus as your Lord and personal Savior, persecutions may come your way.

You may encounter persecutions both physical and spiritual at anytime.

Persecutions may come but God has designated an angel for your safety. If you only have faith.

Be strong despite everything that persecutors may throw at you because your Savior still has something in store for you.

Prayer
Heavenly Father, rescue us from every snare of the fowler in the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, Amen.
