Slay the invisible giant (11) Envy
"Repent of this wickedness and pray to the Lord in the hope that he may forgive you for having such a thought in your heart.

For I see that you are full of bitterness and captive to sin."

Envy is another reason invisible giant ought to be slain.

After Peter and John had prayed for the visitation of the Holy Spirit on the people, Simon, one of the people became envious.

Simon was envious about Peter and John's gifts, because he wished the apostles gifts could have been transferred to him.

Simon being anxious for the apostles gifts allowed evil to enter his mind.

There he tried to induce the apostles with money for the gift of the Holy Spirit.

On the contrary, Peter and John prayed for Simon having had those thoughts.

No matter the situation, do not allow envy to dictate the pace for you.
