Gov't announces 3 Policies for the ports

Dr Bawumia has announced three major policy initiatives at the Port Efficiency Conference today.

Effective September 1, 2017, Government has ordered the following:

1. Mandatory joint inspection of goods at the Ports by GCNET and West Blue
2. The Ports should go paperless
3. All Customs barriers on the roads should be removed and the personnel deployed elsewhere

This takes effect from September 1, 2017
