Condenmnation On The Blast Of Borussia Dortmund F/C,Coptic Christians In Egeypt And The Russia, St Petersburg

The Tijaniyya Muslim Council of Ghana received with bitterness the blast that hit Borussia Dortmund Borussia Dortmund football club in Germany which resulted in a player and the police escort hurt. Borussia Dortmund were on their way to their home Champions League quarter-final match against Monaco, when "three explosive charges had detonatedThe Council condemn the incident and wished Bartra and the police "speedy recovery".

It is also disheartening to hear another two blasts targeting Coptic Christians in Egypt on Palm Sunday killing at least 44 people. An explosion at St George's Coptic Church in Tanta killed 27 people. Hours later, a blast outside St Mark's Coptic Church in Alexandria left 17 dead. Our Council have "great confidence" in President Sisi and that he would handle the situation to ensure maximum security. In Russiaat least 11 people were killed in a blast on the St. Petersburg metro.

The Council sympathizes with the dead and also express its condolences to the bereaved family, the government and wish the injured speedyrecovery.

The Tijaniyya Muslim Council of Ghana wish to state categorically that no innocent soul is worth dying out ofnothing.

Every single soul have the right to lead a social and religious life without compulsion and intimidation. Islam is a peaceful religion and will remain sameno matter the wrong perception, actions or inaction of an individual or group.

Our council stand for peace and justice and urges all nations, nationals, group, individuals and authorities to protect lives and properties. Also to create peaceful and just communities in ensuring violence-free world where people can go about their activities without fear and panic. Therefore no attack on innocent soul and properties will have the Council’s blessing.
