NPP Youth In China For Victory 2016 Slams EC

We express our utmost displeasure to the move by Electoral Commission of Ghana to alter its logo at a point where critical issues that needs attention are hanging. We are surprised that the EC seem to be at sea in terms of setting priorities right. In an election as crucial as the 2016 elections, the EC should not be seen engaging in activities that further depletes its limping image.

At a point in our democratic history where there is consensus that our voters’ register is incurably flawed we expect the EC to channel its energies towards ways and means of making that sacred document acceptable.

Again, question is what is wrong with the current logo of coat of arms? We believe that we must be serious as a country and Institutions such as the EC which occupy a central part of our democratic process must be seen to be over and above reproach.

We wish to further call on all stakeholders to condemn this move for the EC to get back on track on more pressing issues that confronts the electoral process of Ghana towards the 2016 crucial bout

We wish to remind Ghanaians that our vote in the 2016 election will decide our path as nation.

We call on Madam Charlotte Osei to really make meaning of history as the first female head of this Sacred institution and ensure that Ghana has an Election management body which is living up to its mandate.

We urge our mother Party to put in place mechanisms to salvage Ghanaians from hardship.
