Elite golfers battles for honours at Tema

Accra, Nov. 12, GNA - Ghana's elite golfers are expected to converge at the Tema Country Golf Course on Saturday and Sunday to vie for honours at this year's DHL Ghana Limited Open Golf championship. The championship marks the 20th anniversary celebration of DHL and it is also to showcase some immaculate talents at the amateur and professional levels.

Mr Ebenezer Adablanu, Chief Executive Officer of the club told the He said players with Handicap 14 qualify to participate in the event but consideration would be given to players with Handicap 18 to participate.

The professionals' four-day play began on Thursday and will end on Sunday while the amateurs' event kick-starts on Saturday through to Sunday.

Mr Solomon Duodoo, Zonal Commercial Manager of DHL Ghana told the The Longest Drive on Hole 18 would receive a prize at the event. Mr E.O.T. Prempeh, a Director of the company is to be the Special Guest of Honour.
