Dhaka (AFP) - South Africa beat Bangladesh by 52 runs in the first Twenty20 international of a two-match series at the Sher-e-Bangla National Stadium in Dhaka on Sunday.

Replying to South Africa's 148-4, Bangladesh were all out for 96 runs in 18.5 overs.

The second and final match of the series will be held at the same grounds on Tuesday.
