Occupyghana Congratulates Nigerians And Wishes Them Well

OccupyGhana congratulates the people of Nigeria and President Dr. Goodluck Ebele Jonathan for the conduct of peaceful, free and fair elections, which has enhanced the maturity of their democratic process and that of Africa.

We commend the Chairman of the Independent Nigerian Electoral Commission Professor Attahiru Muhammadu Jega for managing a successful electoral process and we believe there are lessons to be learnt by other Electoral Commissioners in Africa from this successful supervision of the most populous and largest economy in Africa.

Our warmest congratulations to President-Elect, General Muhammadu Buhari for a job well done and winning the elections signifying Nigerians' wish for change which we all hope will bring to an end corruption in that country and encourage other countries to emulate this laudable example.

OccupyGhana believes in promoting sustained, good and responsible governance and a positively engaged citizenry. OccupyGhana therefore supports all progressive elements in Africa's march to independent thought and good governance.

In this regard, OccupyGhana therefore wishes the President-Elect and all Nigerians well in their quest to achieving good governance and a corruption-free Nigeria.

Yours in the service of occupying minds and hearts for God and country.
