Ugandan LRA rebel commander in warcrimes court custody: source

Bangui (Central African Republic) (AFP) - Captured Lord Resistance Army rebel commander Dominic Ongwen was on Saturday handed over to the International Criminal Court's office in Bangui pending transfer to The Hague, a Central African judicial source said.

"After arrival in Bangui, Dominic Ongwen, was handed over to the International Criminal Court which has an office in Bangui," the source said.

The Ugandan rebel is to face trial for crimes against humanity.
