Haftar forces claim raid on Libya capital airport

Benghazi (Libya) (AFP) - Forces loyal to dissident former general Khalifa Haftar claimed an air raid targeting Mitiga airport in the Libyan capital on Monday.

"It was our air forces which carried out the air raid on Mitiga base" held by "terrorist groups", General Saqr al-Jarrushi, a spokesman for Haftar, told AFP, referring to Islamist militias which control Tripoli.
