Burkina protesters storm parliament ahead of key vote: AFP

Ouagadougou (AFP) - Hundreds of protesters stormed the parliament building in Burkina Faso on Thursday where lawmakers were to vote on a controversial constitutional change that would the west African country's president to extend his 27-year rule.

About 1,500 demonstrators managed to break into the building, where they ransacked offices and set fire to cars, according to AFP reporters on the scene.
