All Set For Official Launch Of 'YEP Ghana'

To Inspire A New Generation Of Young Ghanaian Entrepreneurs

Young Entrepreneurs Programme (YEP), an initiative by the award winning organisation, Ghanaian Londoners (GL) Network, based in the UK is set to be launched in Accra on 16th March 2013.

Following the success of YEP in the United Kingdom which has impacted the lives of over 500 young people with entrepreneurial and employability skills, founder of GL, Adwoa Agyemang has made the strategic decision to bring this innovative programme to her native homeland, Ghana in her efforts to inspire a new generation of Young Ghanaian Entrepreneurs.

Adwoa explained her reasons for her move to launch YEP in Ghana and said “Entrepreneurship empowers people, in all societies and at all levels to take their own destinies into their hands. Young people around the world and in particular Ghana have a right to entrepreneurship education.

Every individual has the right to be exposed to ownership concepts, to the possibility of owning a business, and to the habits of thought that leads to wealth creation”.

Dudded “YEP Ghana”, this programme will assist ambitious young Ghanaian entrepreneurs with training, tools, empowerment and encouragement to become successful entrepreneurs.

The program is a series of intense weekly & interactive sessions geared towards young people with a passion for entrepreneurship as well as those who want to develop their employability skills.

The students learn the needed skills, receive encouragement and are provided the support and mentorship needed to begin a career as an entrepreneur.

With numerous programs in around Accra, this program stands heads and shoulders above the rest, because in addition to a globally minded curriculum, participants also receive 5 weeks of business support, participation in a mentoring program where they are matched with professional & seasoned entrepreneurs as well as one year membership in the YEP club.
