This Bellicose Ghana-UK High Commissioner Must Go!!

H.E Prof Kwaku Danso-Boafo, Ghana High Commissioner To The UK

When will we be spared the pettiness and egoistic behavior of this caretaker High Commissioner?

This is a new page, and we the UK/Ireland chapter of the NDC do not want our activities to be characterized by the bickering and pettiness that we suffered in the last four years. We are determined to chart a new path of oneness and unity of purpose.

We the chapter members have done some soul-searching and realized that we allowed our front to be broken by divide and rule tactics adopted by the High Commissioner and which weakened our front considerably. But for the goodwill that President Mahama's candidature brought to the party our chapter would have all but atrophied by this time.

Our chapter has always been an active and vibrant one in the Diaspora and I guess we can confidently say that it was the most active until our fortunes started dwindling following the appointment of Prof. Danso-Boafo.

This unfortunate development started in 2009 and the full impact of it was felt by 2010. Thereafter it was a sustained and continuous downhill slope for the chapter and a gradual dissipation of its membership.

The High Commissioner Prof. Kwaku Danso-Boafo chose to deal with individual members of the chapter instead of the chapter as a group. His modus operandi of buying individual members with money was so efficiently executed that all efforts to restore the chapter's formidable front failed largely because such compromised individuals were understandably unwilling to cooperate with the team in addressing pertinent chapter issues.

The chapter has identified this problem and is determined to move on and restore the chapter to its former glory. We want to have a strong chapter to work towards the 2016 election and beyond beginning from NOW.

We will eschew all tendencies of divisiveness and we will not tolerate any divide and rule tactics. We will expose any individual especially if they are in authority and wield influence because if we fail to do that their nefarious activities will destroy our chapter and affect the fortunes of our great party the NDC.

The chapter will continue to work for the interest of the party and not the parochial interest of any individual.

The chapter held a beautiful victory party on Saturday 19th January 2013 at the Tottenham Leisure Centre in north London and we want to use this opportunity to salute the chapter and the organisers for their hard work.

We want them to recognize that the reason the event was so successful was because we stood our ground and worked as members of one party without allowing the event to be hijacked by an individual appointee to advance his personal and parochial agenda.

We salute you NDC UK/Ireland Branch.
Long Live the NDC…Long Live President Mahama and Long Live Ghana our Motherland.

Ede be keke….!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
