Johannesburg (AFP) - South Africa won the toss and opted to bat in the second Twenty20 international against Sri Lanka on Sunday.

On a warm day with a chance of thunderstorms at the Wanderers stadium, South African captain Farhaan Behardien said he was aiming for a big tally.

"It looks a nice surface. It's dry and we want to post an imposing total and put them under pressure," he said.

South Africa fielded the same team that won by 17 runs in the first match, reduced by rain to 10 overs a side in Centurion on Friday.

Sri Lanka made two changes. Nuwan Pradeep, injured, and fellow fast bowler Suranga Lakmal were replaced by left-arm seamer Isuru Adana and left-arm wrist spinner Lakshan Sandakan.

Sri Lankan captain Angelo Mathews said the surface was very different from the seam-friendly pitch on which they lost the third Test inside three days last week.

"It looks a lot drier but we will still have to play well to win," he said.
