Stanbic Bank to implement Agric Investment Fund

Stanbic Bank, Ghana Ltd will from January 2010 implement a 25 million dollar Agriculture Investment Fund to help small-holder farmers to grow out of poverty. The Fund which is Ghana's share of the 100 million dollar Alliance for Green Revolution in Africa (AGRA) Initiative of Standard Bank Group will give critical support to the Agricultural value chain to ensure that farmers get good returns for their products.
