SDA Church, Legon to build a three-storey chapel
Pastor Samuel Adama Larbie, President
of the Ghana Union Conference of the Seventh Day Adventist Church has
called on Christians to develop unity and love for each other and
contribute meaningfully towards the development of the work of their
Creator.
He said unity and love for each other in the service of the
Lord, would go a long way of winning more souls for Christ.
Pastor Larmie made the call at the Foundation Stone Laying Church Service of the Legon branch of the Seventh Day Adventist Church on Saturday.
The 700,000 Ghana Cedis three-storey building which would consist
of 800 seating capacity would be financed through voluntary contributions
and fundraising activities.
Pastor Larmie called on the members of the Church to open their
hearts warmly and support the project for its early completion.
Pastor Samuel Ntim, an Elder of the Church said the membership
of the Church has increased from 11 to 150 since its inception in 1986.
He said the Church would embark on a membership drive through
crusades to win more souls for Christ.
Elder Ntim appealed to Christians to “open a new chapter by
refraining, from acts which hinder national development and also asked
them to depend on the Lord for their needs.
