I will build our local economies to generate well-paying jobs when voted president in 2024 – Mahama

Former President, John Dramani Mahama

Flagbearer of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), John Dramani Mahama has promised to put measures in place to generate well-paying jobs for Ghanaians when he is given another chance to serve as President.

The former President exercised his civic responsibility as a Ghanaian by voting in district-level elections at the Bole District Assembly polling station on Tuesday, December 19.

In a post on Facebook today, John Dramani Mahama said he is keen on building local economies in the country to create jobs that will pay good money.

“Together, we shall build our local economies and make them work 24 hours to generate well-paying jobs,” John Dramani Mahama said in his post on Wednesday, December 20.

Meanwhile, the former President has congratulated all Ghanaians who voted in the District Assembly Election and candidates who have been elected assembly members across the country.

He has promised to pay allowances to assembly members when he is voted President in the 2024 General Election.

“I remain committed, when voted as the President of Ghana in 2024, to begin paying allowances to all Assembly Members to help them carry out their duties,” Mahama added in his post.
