Election petition: You can’t dictate to us – Nii Kpakpo Samoa jabs NPP
A private legal practitioner and member of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Mr. Nii Kpakpo Samoa Addo has rebuked spokespersons of the governing New Patriotic Party (NPP) saying they cannot dictate how his party decides to pursue its Election Petition case.
Mr. Kpakpo Samoa Addo said the NDC understands its case better than anyone and will pursue it to the letter.

NPP refutes Minority’s claim of not supporting relief for students
Majority New Patriotic Party (NPP) in Parliament has refuted claims by the Minority National Democratic Congress (NDC) that it did not support the motion to provide reliefs to students of public tertiary institutions.
The Majority also refuted assertions from the NDC that it did not want to build consensus on the issues.

Johnson Asiedu Nketia, the General Secretary of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) has denied at the Supreme Court that he had told the whole world that John Dramani Mahama won the Election 2020.
According to him he never stated at a press Conference that Mr. Mahama won the elections.

Petitioner will not testify in court — Ayine
Dr Dominic Akuritinga Ayine, a Spokesperson for the Petitioner in the 2020 Presidential Election Petition said it is far from being the case that Former President John Dramani Mahama himself will testify in the court.
He said the Petitioner has filed a Petition and he is entitled as of right under the law to call witnesses to aid in the trial that was what he has done.

The La Dade Kotopon constituency Senior Party members, Coordinators and Delegates of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) have petitioned the party to expell the former Member of Parliament for the constituency Vincent Sowah Odotei popularly known as Obama.
According to them, the former MP engaged in ways to derail the fortunes of the party in the constituency.

Election Petition: SC strikes out 10 paragraphs of Asiedu Nketia's witness statement
The Supreme Court has struck out 10 paragraphs of Johnson Asiedu Nketia's witness statement in the Election 2020 Petition, saying he cannot testify on those paragraphs.
The Supreme Court said those paragraphs would have been admissible if the petitioner (John Dramanai Mahama) was testifying in court.

Mahama refusing to testify in Election Petition – says Frank Davies
Mr. Frank Davies, one of the lawyers for President Akufo-Addo’s legal team in the election petition case says ex-President John Dramani Mahama is afraid to testify in court.
Mr. Davies made the claim on Friday, January 29, 2021, when he addressed the press shortly after the Supreme Court adjourned the case to Monday.

One of the lawyers for President Akufo-Addo, Mr. Frank Davies has taken on the General Secretary of the National Democratic Congress, Johnson Asiedu Nketia over some utterances the latter made in court on Friday, January 29, 2021.
Mr. Nketia who was presented as a witness by ex-President John Mahama in the ongoing election petition case answered: “I don’t speak for the petitioner” several times during his cross-examined in court.

Election Petition: Supreme Court deletes portions of Asiedu Nketia’s statement
The Supreme Court has struck out portions of statement submitted in court on behalf of the General Secretary of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Mr. Johnson Asiedu Nketia, in the ongoing Election Petition hearing.
This was after Akoto Ampaw, the lead lawyer for President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, asked the Supreme Court to delete portions of Mr. Nketia’s statement.
